This restaurant has closed down. We visited about two weeks ago, and we were informed that it was their final day of operation. I suppose that explains the subpar food and the lack of proper dishes and utensils. My husband received steaming hot soup in a plastic takeout container, which seems concerning for health reasons. The staff member was apologetic and mentioned that the poor experience was due to it being their last day. So, are they still in business or not?

The food itself was a major letdown. I ordered the hot pot, which came with an odd selection of vegetables—just Iceberg lettuce and cauliflower, which felt really out of place for this dish. The broth was excessively salty to the point where I couldn't finish my meal. Overall, it was definitely overpriced for something I could have easily prepared better at home. I won’t be returning to this place again.

The drinks here are excellent and less sweet compared to other places. Plus, they already come with boba!

Airplane quality food like frozen food they just heated it. And in recycle plate and bowls. I don’t even want to take a picture. Avoid this place.

L.A. traffic is no joke. I often hear that when you want to meet someone in L.A. expect them to always be late. As my companion and I arrived here I thought the place was closed. I check my Yelp app and it says it should be open. I knocked and called, no answer. Then I walk around the back and noticed a nice lady preparing stuff in the kitchen. She happily lets us in and apologizes. As she sets down the menus she asked what I like to eat. I happily conversed with her in Cantonese. I was in the mood for congee and noodles but she said, we don't have that today. Instead she recommended their Joy Beef Curry and Braised Pork Belly. Let me tell you, that Joy Beef Curry blew me away. The buttery, flaky crust was outstanding. I could taste coconut in the curry sauce and it had a nice spicy kick to it. The beef was so tender. I even poured some of that sauce onto the white rice. There was a salad on the side. Pammy does not do salads. But since I haven't eaten greens for a couple of days, I ate it. My companion loves pork belly but he was more into the beef curry. All food and drinks are served on paper plates due to the pandemic. As we finished up our meal, the lady waves to me from afar and asks how the food was. I gave her big two thumbs up and I can tell that made her very happy. The guy finally arrived to work after we ordered. But my hats off to that lady that made sure we were taken care of.
