I've probably visited Fork Over Pork over 15 times. However, my assessment will be of a non-KBBQ experience, as I and my friends have only eaten regular entrees here. One day we will. Staff: Attention and friendly Food: Delicious! I usually get the Kichi rice or the Bibimbap. My esteemer likes to get tofu soup, all kinds. Main complaint re:tofu soup is that it is not enough rice, and additional rice costs $2 per bowl... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fork Over Pork:
Go to town K. It would be worth a lot more. These aren't neighborhoods, Jjukku Jjukku. It's okay. Prices are polarized. But you could choose and mix the tofu stuff. I can't suggest anything. Looks good, no substance to secure it: Dippings u get only two. View all feedback.
Fork over pork is an excellent family owned neighborhood restaurant. Always kind and courteous. Restaurant always impeccably clean. We love love love their bento boxes. The meat is always delicious. Their noodles are fantastic. And the potatoes are divine. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
Man oh man, I was hoping for something better than what we experienced but sorry to say, we won 't be coming back here. When our party of 7 arrived, we were the second party there. The only ones inside was a couple so we thought oh nice it 'll be fast service. We ordered various dishes, meat dishes (that ranged from $32-$36), tofu soup (varies in sizes and price of $13-$17) and had kimchi fried rice. First off, the cooked meat dishes are PRICEY! But luckily the meat was juicy and good. I ordered the seafood tofu noodle soup which was average. The noodles are basically the ones you get from any market that you cook for 3 mins so I thought that was average and the seafood part was considered 3 small clams and 1 shrimp...like what? Lol. The soup itself was alright as well. I had mild which was durable for my hot Cheetos limit. The sides were good. The thing that made me go WHAT THE was that by the time we ordered, there were a total of 3 parties inside the restaurant. When we got our food, the waiter placed a big bowl of soup with a big pork bone and glass noodles. We did order something like it so we automatically thought it was ours especially with a party of 7. My fiancé was about to put his soup spoon in when a waitress came up to us and asked if that was ours. We shrugged and she took it back to her counter to check the tickets and she gave it to another table. That soup was literally on our table for a good 5 mins before you caught your mistake and you just go and give it to the next table (the correct person). If that was my soup, I 'd ask them to make it again. I understand COVID is not that big of a deal anymore but that seems a little SUS to just take it from one table to the next. Overall, the food was average compared to the price and the service. Unfortunately, this experience influenced me enough not to make a second trip here.
I've been coming here when they had the old name posted up . I used to eat here all the time but sadly I moved to inland. But if I want KBBQ I will make the drive to come to my favorite spot which it is FORK OVER PORK !!! My number one kbbq spot.5 stars . Food is great. The sides are awesome and sauce is great as wellI hope they are open forever so I can keep on eating GREAT kbbq. One of my fave items is the spicy kimchi tofu soup:
The food was good. No complaints. It was a bit pricey though. An order of bbq ribs was $35. In fairness, however, it was a huge portion, so I'm not sure if that's reasonable. It felt pricey to me. But the more important issue for me was we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday! I'm torn between feeling bad for them and, well, maybe their prices are driving people away? Or maybe it's the hot pot place next door, which had a steady stream of patrons coming and going? Or the Vietnamese restaurant on the other side... But honestly, the food was good.
Generally well-rounded korean restaurant. A little on the pricier side, but the quality and taste are good enough for me. I recently got their Kimchi Fried Rice. Unique taste, it was more on the sour side, which I know some people like. Portion was reasonably big considering the cost. I was a little disappointed in the overcooked egg, but maybe that's because I got to-go. Still, haven't had good kimchi fried rice in a while, so I was satisfied. Very flavorful. I'd definitely come back once in a while.
