Charming little spot! The photos I had seen really didn't capture its true ambiance. The food was quite good. My tuna melt was unique compared to others I've tried; it was more of a tuna salad melt, and it was surprisingly delicious. The service was satisfactory. The restaurant offers an excellent menu for dinner, breakfast, and lunch. The service is outstanding, and they genuinely care about their customers.
The breakfast here is awesome. It's hard to find a place that makes a good corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy. Chef's coffee shop does a great job with both. Their pancakes are decent. Staff is friendly and the regulars who inhabit the diner in the afternoon give the place a grandparent's house atmosphere. I would definitely prefer this place over Dennys.
Have been going to this wonderful ol place for over 30 years now ! Same place, same great food, the best salsa , biscuits and gravy, wow you'll enjoy , go early nice and cool seating outside for now but comfortable. You'll see regulars there 100 year old folks , nice and friendly :
