We were only here for one night as part of a walking holiday, but longer would have been fine. We liked our clean, quiet, modern room and were made very welcome. We stayed a week at the beginning of August in this farm, couple plus an adult daughter, occupying two rooms on the ground floor. we chose half board formula and it was an excellent experience! both breakfast and dinner have always been with own production products, many traditional Sardinian dishes, cooked excellently by the lady anna, the soul and the heart of the restaurant. a special thank you for all the attention you have given us, also making vegan dishes and sweets for our daughter, always available and courteous. we also have to say of emrica and elena, who with great dedication and professionalism follow the customers in every need. our rooms were simply furnished, as you can expect from a structure like this, but the living room was very comfortable, the comfortable bed and the window equipped with mosquito nets. we hope to be able to return next year, a heartfelt thanks to the whole crown family!
Communal table, one time for all to start dinner, you either book or you are out and you show up when they ask you to or you don't eat. There's nothing wrong with that and it is part of the experience. The food is authentic, so is the service and the place in general. I am surprised by the negative comments of other travellers, this is not a restaurant and it is pretty much what an agriturismo in Italy should be. Fixed menu, fixed price, average cost. The only downside of the whole experience is that you have to be lucky with the menu, given that you can't really choose your food or even your wine, for that matter. So I stuffed on ravioli that night (generous portions! and didn't really eat goat meat, just not my thing. I definitely recommend it for the experience and authenticity, not your thing if you are looking for a restaurant, this is more like going to a private house and getting stuffed with food, the Italian way!
An agriturismo set in pretty rolling countryside very generous food portions and as much local wine as you want! Menu based on seasonally available ingredients and generous breakfast with wide choice.

If you ask, you can be shown round a separate cylindrical building which was constructed in the traditional style to handle functions such as Easter. There are generations of the same family here and the atmosphere is delightful.
We s(Dutch couple in their 50's) stayed four days in this agriturismo and had diner every day. There is no choice so it is a big surprise to see what will be on the table ... But no surprise was the fine and pure taste of all the dishes, made of local, organic ingredients. It was delicious, traditional Sardinian food, all in abundancy, accompanied by as much as wine (good simple local wine) as you wished. Maybe it is just an advantage that you do NOT have a choice in the dishes: you might skip something that does nooit seem attractive and miss a real Sardinian gem ! As other reviewers remarked: an agriturismo is not an hotel, and not a restaurant ! So there is no room service, you cannot order a coffee during daytime etc. Etc. But you are staying at home with very gentle and sympathetic people who try to make you feel comfortable. We like this formula better than a hotel, but that' s a matter of taste. Qualifications for diner are also fot breakfast, fresh, organic, abundant, delicious ! So...., we absolutely recommend the Sa Perda Mercada. (And a kiss for the sweet daughters of the house who were very kind to us).
