Feedback
Red Lobster offers a diverse dining experience that swings from delightful to disappointing. While many guests praise the delicious, iconic cheddar biscuits and highlight the warm, inviting atmosphere, service inconsistencies often detract from the overall experience. Some visitors have reported lengthy waits for tables and food, leading to cold meals and unfulfilled requests. However, attentive servers like Ryan and Marty have left lasting impressions on others, enhancing their visit with friendly, efficient service. Families appreciate the child-friendly environment, though mixed feelings about food quality persist. With potential for greatness, Red Lobster remains a restaurant worth considering.
The restaurant was clean and was set up immediately. Waitress was friendly and professional. Had the endless shrimps. Was hot and tasty
My fiancé and I decided to take our one-year-old son to Red Lobster last night because he had a cute Red Lobster outfit that we thought would be perfect for the occasion. Unfortunately, our dining experience was quite disappointing. We spent nearly $100 and ended up leaving most of our food untouched. The only things we managed to finish were our drinks. My fiancé ordered the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo but received plain Chicken Linguini Alfredo instead. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad and the calamari appetizer. When our server brought our food, I requested extra marinara sauce, and that was the last we saw of her until we were getting ready to leave. I didn't even need the extra sauce because the calamari was tough and had a fishy smell. I didn’t want my fiancé to feel bad, so I forced myself to eat some, smothering it with the marinara I had. My salad was disappointing as well, with lots of brown, soggy leaves and very little dressing, so I ended up picking at it more than actually eating. My fiancé got up to find our server to request the bill, only to end up paying it to the manager instead. Our server finally returned with the extra marinara just as we were about to leave, and she did apologize for the oversight. Additionally, we were charged $1.99 for crayons that my son didn’t use because he immediately tried to put one in his mouth. To make matters worse, there was a man sitting alone nearby who kept staring at my partner and son the entire time. We turned our son's back to him but didn't want to create a scene, so we tried to ignore him until he approached us and asked if he could join us. We politely declined and decided it was best to leave. On a positive note, my piña colada was good, and my son did enjoy his food. We took a picture as we were leaving, but overall, it was not the experience we had hoped for.
We had a fantastic lunch! Our server, Ryan, was friendly, funny, and very efficient. The food was excellent and matched our orders perfectly. We ended up with plenty left over for dinner. I ordered the "pick your salad," an appetizer (shrimp cocktail), and a meal (broiled salmon), which was a great deal! I also tried a Berry Sangria; it was quite fruity and had a Kool-Aid-like taste. I'm not sure if it contained any alcohol.
This restaurant is wonderful—very kid-friendly with excellent and prompt service. The atmosphere is clean, and the food is delicious. Our waiter was exceptional; when my son told her he raised money from selling lemonade just to come here, she let him choose his own lobster from the tank and even showed him how to crack it open himself. It was such a memorable experience for my 9-year-old.
