It was one of those days where we would just pick a Cafe. And it was an excellent choice! We came about minutes before they closed and ordered our almond cappuccinos. I was pleasantly surprised that while the barista was wrapping things out, she still made a delicious, chocolatey, cap! This Cafe is high on my ranking! The staff members were so friendly, too, even though they were keen to wrap things up. We love the a... View all feedback.
What Carla Gallardo doesn't like about Cioccolato Espresso:
my daughter for lunch. at 1.50 clock sitting outside, look at the menu when it was torn out of my hands, the commentary “closes kitchen”! when I met fam from different parts of the city, I checked the closing times and both zomato and...Tripadvisor says 4 o'clock. dissapointing like the second time that this happens...u lost us! This place earned itself a mention on theurbanlist's best hot chocolate list. Being fans of the stuff, we took off in search of it on a breezy weekday afternoon. Cioccolato Espresso offers the usual cafe fare for food and drink. There were plenty of muffins on the counter, the standard squares and slices in the fridge display, and the usual option of coffees and bottled drinks. The tea room at the back looked nice, but we were here for just one thing to take away: the cioccolato, a thick European-style hot chocolate for $6 that came in classic, mint, hazelnut or chilli. The gf chocolate slices that came complimentary with our drinks was a pleasant surprise, and were nice enough, with dates and chocolate being the two main tastes. The classic was nice, warm, delicious - not sauce thick as San Churro's is, but lightened by the foam built into the body, which made it easier to drink over a longer period. The hazelnut tasted quite like hazelnuts. I couldn't pick out if they used a concentrate for the flavour, but there was finely chopped hazelnut bits in every sip, which says a lot about the great texture that it could keep them evenly rather than having them sink to the bottom. Musing on nothing, we clutched the cups as we sat in the tiny car park overlooking the river five minutes' drive away. We watched the rainclouds billow over the city on the horizon, and the sunbeams glow through the sky. It was all that we could have asked for, and so this gets a solid score. hubpages.com
Awesome big breakfast, really fresh lots of variety on the menu. This place is really busy but great food and coffee worth trying to get a table amongst the women in Yoga pants.

Came here for breakfast Saturday morning. Cute cafe. Parking is a bit of a pain but it's not about that. Plenty of seating... we sat down a little alley which was intimate and funky. There was a 30minute wait for food but we had plenty to catch up on. Coffees came out prompt and hot. Food was delicious. Muesli displayed beautifully. Def recommend.
Very busy cafe for a Monday afternoon when we came here for lunch. We sat on the side alley way which was absolutely lovely. It would be good to sit outside too on a nice weather day but it was full. Food and drinks are all very good. Friendly staffs and reasonable service too .
