Description
A comprehensive review of the restaurant reveals a mixed bag of experiences from diners. Some diners were disappointed with the slow service, bland food, and high prices, vowing never to return. One person mentioned that the take-away food did not live up to their expectations based on previous dine-in experiences. On the other hand, there were positive reviews highlighting the delicious dosas, flavorful curries, and warm service. One family even praised the staff for making their father's 80th birthday celebration special. Overall, the restaurant seems to have a range of dishes that cater to different tastes, with friendly service and a pleasant ambiance being common highlights among diners.

Looking for something else local restaurant and has done past hundreds of hundreds. Has a butter chicken, chicken Tikka Masala, garlic-nann bread and cheese-nann and everything was great. Both currys were mild, no real bite to them, but there is an option for a hot version. Could not stop eating everything and was far too full. The next day was a lunch for lunch. Come again!
You know when you arrive first, its early and the table that you specifically booked isn't as good as another near the window - AND - a restaurant changes it immediately - that it's going to be a good experience, and it was! Our party enjoyed excellent service, great food and it didn't slow as the restaurant filled on a busy weekend night. Each small request attended to - and a good guide is the sound of happy diners around us in this well situated restaurant one storey above street level in the Ardross Street shopping area. We will be back ...well done 'Nine' Spices - with two extra for a great evening. Now if you arrange a view of the river by extricating part of a rear wall ...my highest score of ten spices is possible. Thanks also from my guests.
Had dinner with family lately. Fairly large restaurant and quite quiet for a Tuesday nightVery friendly n helpful service once we were seatedWe ordered " hot" goat curry n madras chicken curry and garlic naanBoth the curries were excellent and were cooked in traditional South Indian style. The naan bread also was delicious World definitely recommend another visit to try out the goat curry again ( comes with bones traditionally)
A beautiful array of selection for the Saturday buffet. From tender butter chicken or crispy garlic naan. However my only negative moment was that there was but a super spicy curry on option, as my experience with Indian food has always had some spice to it and though here had “spicy” on one of the curries it was not very spicy. I loved the d for and the service was most kind and helpful. It was quite a full house when I was there and a great place to have a party!!!! Excellent work 7Spices.
