So maybe the option of the vegan Schnitzel is only available in summer season, when there is lots of tourists. However if you are ovo-lacto-vegetarian you will be able to eat the Spätzle.

They have delicious regional dishes, particularly their schnitzel and rosti. Try with an Appenzell beer! If it is warm enough, eat outside under the trees, otherwise, they have a smallish...dining room inside.
