Dishes were delicately made,... read more The owner served our table! Great ambiance with the typical Swiss wooden decor. Casual and cozy but the food is definitely upscale. Dishes were delicately made, the steak tartar was simple spectacular with enough herbs and onions to add zest without taking away the good meat flavor. The pork schnitzel (not he typical breaded stuff) came in with a delicious wine and wild mushroom reduction sauce that left you asking for more. A must visit place!

The food is delicious, of course. The place is cozy. The decoration is fantastic. The owner is so charming!

We did book a table in this restaurant through their own website, which redirects you to Foratable.com. When we arrived at 18:30, we were told they had no table... read more We did book a table in this restaurant through their own website, which redirects you to Foratable.com. When we arrived at 18:30, we were told they had no tables left, that they had last checked the online reservations at 18:00 (I had received the online booking confirmation before 18:00). At the time of booking, according to the website, there were other available slots, all through the night... To summarise, they use the online reservation system as they like, and don’t update it based on the number of bookings and tables they actually have. They offered us to sit next to a couple of people already eating, at the same table, providing we would be gone be 20:00. Needless to say, we didn’t accept this proposition that doesn’t comply at all with the regulations in place, and left.

For tourists from abroad, the restaurant will not be among the other recommended restaurants. But if you like the fine tuning in a place founded by a local (women) known for their excellent soups, which then decided to study and became a professional cook and who today the Cheff cook, who prepares the dishes probably together with others this is the place. Excellent food, excellent service, good athmsphare and all this in the old way, without the orders being entered into the cashier computer and the bons are printed in the kitchen... the man coordinates everything and it is s o g o d o d.
