We stopped in for a light meal during our visit. Service was quick and friendly, the setting ok but not overly exciting. We had a pretty good Appenzeller Käse Zwiebel Fladen/Quiche with Appenzeller cheese with an excellent side salad, an Appenzeller Käseschnitten/Croque Monsieur with salad...on the plate this was barely ok, the bread was really dry, and a tasty but veru substantial Appenzeller Käshörnli/Mac Cheese wi... View all feedback.
The meal was good, nicely served the service was personal and very friendly even though no English was spoken.
Great food- we went for a very late lunch/ early dinner. We were happy the kitchen was open! The schnitzel was the best I’ve had in a long time, pounded thin and a very tasty breading.
