Although there are many great restaurants in Appenzell, the Restaurant Zum Drei König is one of the best. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is perfect. I always come to this place, I'm such a fan! I can't come to Appenzell and don't come here, period you don't only have the best brat I ever had, but they also have the best appenzell cheese sandwich in the world!

Highly recommended. Very friendly and polite staff. We could feel they cared about the service. Food was of excellent quality, with good portion sizes. The house ice tea was superb, tasting fresh and not too sweet. Naturally a nice location in the historical centre of Appenzell.
