Terrific atmosphere. Beautiful interior without feeling Stuffy. The food was terrific and so was the service. Great place for a casual breakfast or lunch or a dressy evening out. Service is friendly and warm and attentive without being overbearing. Intimate but friendly. View all feedback.
What Madie Harvey doesn't like about The Peak City Grill & Bar:
Arrival at 6:40 for an 18:45 reservation. Hostess tried to sit four of us at a small table near the entrance of the door. Hostess said she would find us different seating and drop the menus very loudly to the Hostess station. He waited for them to drive/clean an already cleared stand with better seats. Seated and lasted a little longer than expected for drinks order and appetizer. Appetizer (glazed brussel sprouts) c... View all feedback.
I came to New Year? Eve, best decision for the night! We had a reservation of 7:30 and arrived a few minutes early. They were packed, and the manager told us politely that they were running a few minutes behind and he would take care of it. That was enough time to enjoy a cocktail at the beautiful bar. Our table was ready at 7:50, and the manager gave us an appetizer on the house. I never asked, he offered, but I understand and it was New Year? Eve for heaven's sake! The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and the service was good. Our waiter was fresh on the job, so I'll give him a passport. It was New Year? Eve, he did the best he could, and I'm a logical guy. We had the tuna remover, my wife had Mignon and Scallops and I had the New York stripe, and not even talking about Dessert! The boiler cookie was from this world! All around it was a great experience and we will do it again next year. The elephant in the room is the fact that there are some tax problems reported by the media, but I hope they have solved them because this is what our area needs, a beautiful stylish restaurant for dinner.
Wow! Terrible experience! Never back! Dark, Dreary, Depressing! Rude Hostess, Judgment Behavior/Dirty Looks. No choice where to sit. Defend twice! The lights were darkened when we had set ourselves and made our menu reading almost impossible... overpriced drinks. Total lack of friendly, friendly customer service of bar staff, hostess and absent wait-staff. Hardly all vegetarian/vegan dishes buried by an imitated, lonely veggie burger at the end of the menu. Extremely loud bar employees, dumping ice cream, clanging bottles and avoiding customers. I liked the jazz music when I heard it over the din.
We were here many times for brunch and every time the service and food was amazing. The brunch menu is somewhat limited, but the 5 or 6 dishes we have received, out of total maybe 12-14 were all fantastic. We thought this last weekend at night for a few drinks and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Great job!

Not impressed. 19:45 p.m. and leading actor finally start coming.... It's not hot. Vegetables we're cold. Sauteed mushrooms appeared and tasted as if they were dehydrated from a package and before. The food taste was seriously missing. I expected a lot more of this facility. Don't come back.
