Unfortunately, it seems the p... read more I just moved to AJ a month ago and have been craving the Chicago-style pizza I love, so I thought Fatman's would be my go-to spot. Unfortunately, it seems the place has changed hands, and the new owners are not upholding the authentic Chicago pizza standard. I only managed to eat one slice of the pie (which is cut in a way I don't prefer) and ended up leaving the rest. It's a shame because I wasted nearly $30 on just one slice. Additionally, the phone system is absolutely terrible. I tried calling more than 20 times, only to hear a recording stating they're busy. When someone finally answered, I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. I don't understand how a business can operate like this. It looks like I’ll have to find another place for true Chicago-style pizza.

Great pizza with a thin crust. I didn't realize till I got home that my order wasn't quite right but it was really good regardless. I didn't bother calling them as it was late. Fair warning, the deep dish Chicago style pizza takes an hour to cook. Was worth the wait on every level. Had a deep dish with fresh garlic, pepperoni, red onion, and peppers. Also recommend the zucchini bites! Ask for a side or marinara with them tho, they come with ranch. The sauce here is delicious!!! It just so happened to be open mic night and the locals held it down admirably without being too loud. We were able to talk at the table and hear the tunes.
