I reserved a table for two for our mea... read more We arrived promptly at 7:00 p.m. At this fine dining restaurant nearby the Crowne Hotel in Antwerp where we were staying. I reserved a table for two for our meal together. The restaurant is well decorated and really beautiful. The food is exquisite and the wine was terrific. So we are eating our way through the dishes we ordered from the menu including Cream of Endive soup, creme de langoustine and grilled Halibut. The restaurant was good enough to understand my medical condition eg:My having had a gastric bypass and served half portions each for my wife and I. This is a rarity I can tell you as usually I am given an empty plate and shares with me her food as ironically, she is not a big eater either. One of the owners recommended me a glass of white wine from a small vineyard in Nimes in the south of France. My goodness, I could easily have consumed a whole bottle! It was so, so good. Yes, the food is delicious. The portions are a good size. The restaurant is clean and one of the owners speaks English very well. However, the menu was only in Dutch so we used the scan function on Google translator to read it. No big deal in a modern world.
