During our stay we were informed that the ownership has recently changed and that a lot of the processes are no longer in place. We would not recommend the new hotel set up for anyone considering booking. A big issue was that the hotel is apparently moving towards a remote service. There was no one at reception the entire stay (3 nights). This proved a issue at check in as we were delayed arriving and online it says check in closes at a specific time. We were lucky a member of staff was still here when we arrived as both the hotel telephone number and booking system never responded. Our room was at one point not cleaned or with new towels. As there was no one working at reception or in the hotel we had to go to the restaurant next door to get anyone involved to help as they were still in a transition moving away from 'hotel ownership ' When we booked the hotel had both a bar and restaurant. Both of these have been sold and no longer are part of the hotel. The hotel room itself was nice but we would not recommend this as a premium or even a medium priced hotel from the experience we had. We spoke with the manager when leaving and he was really accommodating and really great to deal with and understood all.our frustrations with the change in expectation of the hotel when booking Best to look elsewhere.

The hotel is located in the middle of the Antwerp city centre with a lot restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. The rooms are very clean and maintained. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a lively neighborhood. The only remark is if you stay here in the weekend and you have the room on the frontsite of the hotel you can hear noise from the street and bars. I didn’t care but if you are a bad sleeper than this can be disturbing.
