I had especially checked their website info beforehand to make sure it was vegan etc and that there would be something i liked. i was very excited to read they... read more I had especially checked their website info beforehand to make sure it was vegan etc and that there would be something i liked. i was very excited to read they had a sort of menu set up to choose from, with starters and main dish etc. so i arrive with my company, and! that menu set up was NOT available yet (supposedly it would be by next week so why put it on the website NOW without indications?? anyway...so there were only a couple of sad like tapas... okay hurray that you are vegan but i was just SO disappointed. I really wanted a full on hot meal; not some random tapas...it was even more sucky for my company, who isnt vegan, and wasnt properly fed at all after 5 shared tapas... the first time they disappointed me was a couple of months earlier. again there i am checking their site to verify their opening hours i rush over there during my limited work lunch break and they were CLOSED that day...no sign or anything on the door nor on the site...just randomly closed that afternoon. so hmm..thats my experience of bites and wine..mediocre and unreliable in their communications... dont mean to hate on them too much though because i am insanely grateful their is one more vegan offer out there...but please bites and wines, stop letting me down each time i look your direction! :P finally! had their dessert (always so excited about dessert ..which was certainly substandard for a restaurant..it was a sort of watery tofu cake i am assuming with some rasberries/semi cheesecake like i guess is what it was going for.....well inentioned? try but far from restaurant quality...sorry bites and wines... if my dad hadnt invited me and hadnt been such lovely company, i wouldve been very annoyed
