I visited with a group of friends and we were impressed with the excellent service and high quality of the food and coffee. The staff, especially the cheerful and attentive young lady named Caitlin, made our visit even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning soon for another delicious brew.

Unfortunately, the foo... read more I visited this cafe for brunch and found it to be quite busy. Although there were plenty of seats, there were only a few sofas available. Unfortunately, the food on display looked dried out and past its expiration date. I ordered a bacon roll for my husband and was surprised to see that they used one from the display. I opted for a cinnamon swirl, which looked good, but when they offered to heat it up, they overdid it and it fell apart. There was no apology from the staff, and they didn't seem too concerned. It's clear that this place has potential, but it needs better management and efficiency, both of which seem to be lacking. I noticed that everyone else seemed to just be having hot drinks, which says it all.

We frequently visit their coffee shops, and our first time in Bushmills was a fantastic experience. We highly suggest trying the croque monsieur, which offers a unique Irish twist on the classic French dish.

It... read more There’s a good choice of rest coffee spots in Bushmills and Ground used to be our favourite but we stopped going because it started to feel dirty and sticky. It’s closed over winter and they must have taken time to properly sort it because it’s as clean as it used to be. Same sort of product as the other ground shops so is decent. The cinnamon danish and lemon drizzle is particularly good. For good coffee, they’re the only local spot that does v60, aero press and Cheney and usually have a good bean or two to choose from. Though on the downside, these take a decent barista who likes coffee to use so can be hit and miss as this ground is primarily staffed by students.
