What User doesn't like about Greco Pizza Donair:
This is more of a takeout place without much seating in the restaurant. I've ordered from here a few times and was always left disappointed. I ordered a meal that comes with fresh veggies, but they didn't have any so rather than contacting me to change my order they substituted with wings, which I did not want and when I called to complain the manager explained that I got a better deal for the price... I ordered a meal that comes with fresh veggies, but they didn't have any so rather than contacting me to change my order they substituted with wings, which I did not want and when I called to complain the manager explained that I got a better deal for the price... Honestly I would rather pay more for edible food than eat bad food and save a buck. Thelast time I ordered, again they did not have my items that I wanted so I ended up cancelling the order. The only time I will get food here is to get a party pizza for a child's birthday party, and even then I am hesitant.
I really dont like writing bad reviews but I cant avoid it this time. First off i have to say I really dont like any pizza in Antigonish. Having grown up on Pictou County pizza, it really isnt fair to compare any pizza, because Pictou County has the best pizza around. My kids however were caught up in the marketing and we decided to give it a try. Seeing the XXL deal advertised we thought we would give that a try. The toppings were awful, the cheese was non-existent and the spice mix they put on the crust made my son gag. No one in the house ate more then one piece and after removing the whatever that was that was trying to be pepperoni we tried to feed some to our 3 dogs to get some value out of it. They wouldnt even touch it and you are talking about dogs who will eat anything, seriously they have eaten bungee cords. Maybe the other pizzas would be better, unfortunately i wont be able to tell you, but the XXL as a 'value' item was not a great pick for our family.
Enjoyed a great pizza the way we like it...service was excellent too. We walked from Evergreen Inn and around town.
Awesome pizza at great prices. I am always able to find a good coupon in the mail and they always make the pizza taste better than it looks in the flyer
