This is a great place to enjoy their lunch time offer of plat du jour or Niçoise salad or capricosa pizza, dessert and wine. The food has always been well prepared and the service is good. It always popular - we certainly return each year and often more than once. View all feedback.
What Frédéric Pereira doesn't like about Les Arcades:
Last here 2016 and gone downhill since. My pizza mst have been the one they forgotn to put reasonable portion of toppings on as they were mainly awol. Daughter had fried calmari which was 'ok ' Wife felt salmon was ordinary . Being late July with...french and english school holidays just begun and a large potential custiomer base can only assume they feel don 't need t really try as most will not be repeat visitors (... I’ve been visiting Juan Les Pins every summer for years and I always gravitate back to LES Arcades for three reasons: A. Great food B. Great service C. Great location As I spend the entire summer here with my family, I was happy to see...that Les Arcades has not only retained its classically delicious French cuisine, but has excellent service. Our server Lucy is sweet, attentive and expeditious. I ordered the daily plat du jour, Gigot d’Agneau (leg of lamb !and it was fantastic. It was followed by a classic chocolate mousse and that’s what I call a happy ending to a beautiful lunch. Thank you Les Arcades for the great meak and thank you Lucy for your great service..
Ate here twice on the 9th and then the 10th of June. The first meal on the Sunday was very good, great service and really good produce, equals great meal/restaurant experience. Second night, Monday the 10th, hummmmm? We won’t be going back. Service was sluggish...at best, food quality poor. I told the waiter to his shock horror, that on the Sunday I’d had a “French” meal and on the Monday I’d had a “tourist” meal. His explanation and protestation did nothing to dissuade my opinion. I later felt that my opinion was justified by the amount of empty seats that we witnessed on the tues, wed and Thursday.
Not fancy but waiters are polite and service is quick and efficient. Pizza was very good, crème caramel too. Very good for a relaxed evening
The Pizza served cold, not tasty. Salad makes you vomit, no taste, veggies not washed. Better buy baguette and eat it. Very impolite service with dry smile and they even don't care since they believe they will see their clients only once !!! Shocked to see such quality in france.
Granted all the restaurants on this street are busy, but put enough staff on so you can serve at a reasonable speed and have 2 seconds to take an order, I asked one question about a cocktail which was brushed off and then asked 'food?' because waiter was desperate to move on..starter of fried calamari and squid was more like the 'bits' from the chip shop, slow cooked lasagna was burnt around the edges and slop in the middle, pasta was over cooked and the whole experience was stressful because of the poor service, I don't normally bother leaving reviews but my suggestion is avoid
