Wendy's - Anthem

Terrible experience. As I was picking up my food at the counter, I was struck in the eye by what I believe was a chunk of ice thrown by an employee from the kitchen area. Adding to the awful service was a filthy dining area, dirty tables and no ice in the soda machine. We used to enjoy eating at this location but over the last year it's gone down hill. Only positive was the cashier.

Food, always delicious ???? Service, staff pleasant and wants to get it right. Inside dining area clean.

2nd car in drive thru at 5:52. Did not order until 6:03 and did not Receive my cheeseburger Deluxe andl fry and 2 small frosties until 628. The hot fry guarantee Ever once met standards for us.

I've been a customer at Wendy's since they opened in Anthem. At 77, I don't drink much soda, so I usually order a kid's drink. Today, however, I was informed that company policy has changed, and now I can only get a kid's drink if I order a kids' meal—this was relayed to me by a teenage manager. I went to McDonald's afterward and had no issues, but I really prefer Wendy's burgers. It seems like it's against the law in Arizona to refuse water to anyone, so we’ll see if this manager is aware of that.

Absolutely ridiculous! We went through the drive-thru to order our food and specifically asked for ranch and barbecue sauce, but none was provided. So, we went around the drive-thru again since the lobby was closed. This time, we were informed that they were out of barbecue sauce but could give us ranch instead. If they had told us the first time that they were out, we would have chosen something else. On top of that, the cashier had a terrible attitude and was really rude. Just look at how few fries they gave me—their appearance is so disappointing!
