I was planning on making a reservation for dinner, but we had to go in to see the menu because it wasn't displayed at the entrance or outside . We had to search for it under the visibly annoyed gaze of the owner the proverbial Aosta Valley welcome . Prices were like jewelry stores, so on my way out, my eye fell on a freezer in plain sight in the bar area, a chest-type freezer with glass through which I could glimpse every type of frozen dish... Too bad there wasn't an asterisk on the menu we remind the owner that frozen products must be declared on the menu, as the very amusing Article 515 of the Italian Criminal Code applies, which punishes commercial fraud, where these products are served and are listed . So I opted for another restaurant, preferring FRESH specialties at much lower prices. If I really want to eat frozen ones, I'll eat them at home or maybe not even at home . Best regards
Small but welcoming bar with kitchen, where you can order typical Aosta Valley dishes.
Recently renovated, it's a wonderful place with a mountain atmosphere (you can even see the Matterhorn). The Tuscan lady who welcomed us was very helpful, friendly, and attentive to make sure everything was fine. And so it was. We ate a lot. Some Aosta Valley dishes, some classic dishes like tagliata. Paired with an excellent wine: the restaurant offers a good, varied selection, suitable for strong mountain flavors, but also for elegant new vegetable dishes!
Nice place, very well managed with excellent food and very courteous and kind Argentinian waiter.
