this place has by far the best kase spatzle in ansbach. it is a family-run place that is visited by local and tourist. Make sure to have a lot of time as all the food is prepared by hand and wonderful is the carving is also huge! View all feedback.
What 1Lynn T 9 months ago on Google doesn't like about Wolfsschlucht:
Menu is usually good. However, it is very disappointing to wait. Other tables arrived after us but received their food before us. It seems the kitchen does not coordinate the orders so well. You can’t do anything but sit and wait. We waited for more than an hour and our food was still not served. I was advised to eat here by the hotel front desk. It is not in the old city. It was fantastic, the plates were huge, well prepared and cooked, served with a smile. The taps are excellent, they had several varieties of beer from different...breweries, this is unusual in Germany. The prices are very reasonable. I might go back to Ansbach just for this place
Once again I enjoyed the delicious Franconian cuisine in my homeland. Simple inn with large portions at low prices. Closed Mon Tue, Sun until open. Unfortunately, the people of Ansbach are lazy to trip advisor. Great local German food for good price. Big Portions! I always ... enjoy the good food during my visits in my old Home Town. Closed on Mo Tu, Su open til
Man, this place ROCKS! This food is great. The Ansbacher bratwurst is very well seasoned. The snitzel is HUGE and the Kloss is hand made and very good...
We visited the Wolsschlucht on our route from France. We were served delicious huge meals to satisfy our hunger. To enjoy it we had to take our time. Those portions were a real challenge. The ratio price quality is outstanding. It is even worth...to make a detour from the highway to dine in. Highly recommended
