We stayed at the Comfort Inn next door which may look like an 80's US motel but is very comfortable and all the rooms are modern albeit a little small. So after a long drive we stopped for food. Very good, good size portions and...good value. They have live music and are often very busy so best book a table. Friendly staff, will come back View all feedback.
What Quincy Gaylord doesn't like about Les Papilles:
a full terrace, a visibly depassee team that was getting drunk in front of the customers, a waitress dephasee, too fat food, too long service. zero ratio quality price, the qualite is getting worse and worse because good address before. Too bad. View all feedback.
The hotel is located next to the comfort hotel, so it is convenient if you stay there. try the foie gras and terrine as appetizers, then once the bark meat patty, once the bavette. all in order, but rather low French average, I would say.
Friday night out with the girls. Excellent food, good service and live music too which was great with everyone up dancing including the staff!!
We stay at the Comfort Inn Hotel next door to the Restaurant. So you don´t need to take your car after a nice dinner and a glas or two of the recommended house wine. The food is good according to valuable french standard. The organisation...of the restaurant even when it´s crowded is nearly perfect and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. We´ll come again.
We arrived at the Comfort Hotel after an overnight flight with an early morning departure looming the next morning. We spent the afternoon walking through Geneva, so when the hotel suggested the adjacent restaurant, we jumped. Tired as we were, we totally enjoyed the dinner...at les Papilles. Service was very good. The food was great and the portions were large. I had a veal in mushroom sauce that included a huge piece of veal. It was deliciously prepared and a real treat. The entrecote with fries and vegetables was also very nice. The wine list included some local choices and some affordable selections. While I normally would not have gone to a hotel restaurant, I am very happy we did.
I just wanted, like in my memory on a simple sunday family lunch, a good piece of meat, fresh french fries and a salad.... I have not been disappointed. I like my meat almost raw and the piece of Black Angus served was well grilled...on the surface, melting on the tongue.. the fries were good and the salad tasty. You can aslo enjoy a famous fondue, which on the tables around seemes to satisfy the families around the tables. Prices is not cheap but fair... I would go there again for a simple and tasty meal.
