Cafe Rialto Pizza Bar - ANNANGROVE

I’ve eaten everywhere, and nothing compares to this restaurant and the way Pete the chef crafts his food! Amazing!!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday on a cold winter's night though it was lovely and warm inside, It was the first time I'd been there but some of our group had been several times and highly recommended it, the food is slow cooked so can take a little longer to reach the table but it's certainly worth the wait, between us we have tried several Italian restaurants both here and abroad and this is one of the best in terms of quality of food, the service was good and the staff pleasant and friendly we'll be sure to visit again sooner rather than later.

Great food, service and reasonably priced. The sizes of the pasta dishes are huge! Relaxed atmosphere and certainly not rushed to place order or leave. Have been there a few times with friends and family now and this restaurant has become our local regular catchup venue. Definitely recommend the grazing board that is varied from week to week. BYO as well!

We have searched the area for a 'family restaurant ' that wasn 't over the top. Thought we had found it. First time had a lovely night, good food, friendly service and reasonably priced. Second visit: Made a booking for 4. Arrived on time to an interrogation as to whether we had booked, what time and for how many. I soon overheard the discussion that they had changed the tables around because a party of people came in with more than their booking, they had also put a couple on a table for 4. All this was apparently my fault!! We eventually negotiated a table out side. We had to organize our own chairs otherwise sit on stools for the meal. No aplogies as it was my fault, apparently!!! from then on we were outside and treated like outcasts. Still no apology or even a simple offer of a complimentary drink or garlic bread. Oh, that 's right, why admit that they made a mistake. I made the mistake booking Service was spasmodic to be polite, we waited over an hour for our main meal apparently the cooks were busy!!! The pizzas were soggy in the middle and tough on the outside.The penne was average and not much of it was eaten. The chicken was pretty good.. When we finally were asked for dessert not desert as on the menu it took another 30 minutes for the waiter to come back and tell us that they had run out of panna cotta. I don 't wonder, they took so long with everything. The sticky date puddings were not served as ordered but did taste OK. Overall a disappointing night and one that I will not repeat in a hurry. I would no longer recommend this restaurant.

Love visiting this restaurant- excellent food, welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. Pasta and pizza wonderful.
