The bread and vegetables were either old or stale. The employee preparing the sandwich struggled with cutting the bread and adding the meat properly. The lettuce was yellowing, and some of the tomatoes appeared to have freezer burn.
Overall, I've had a reliable experience at this restaurant, but tonight the food was disappointing. I spent over $40 on sandwiches and they were simply awful. The veggie patties were still frozen, and the spinach was spoiled. Additionally, it was frustrating to be asked for payment while I was trying to discuss sandwich options with my dining companion. To make matters worse, I had to pay separately for chips and sodas because they weren't included in the meal deal. In hindsight, I should have walked away when I noticed the unappealing vegetables. I won't be returning to this place again.
The food is decent, but the restaurant is often empty and doesn't see much foot traffic. They do offer unlimited soda refills, which is a nice perk. The cookies were delicious! However, our experience with the server wasn’t great, which is why I’ve deducted one star. The location is convenient, right next to Pizza Hut, and there is a small seating area inside. Enjoy your visit!
After I returned my sandwich because the egg was ice-cold, the staff member didn't show even a hint of sympathy or apology. Instead, she gave me a rude look and asked if I wanted her to reheat it. I calmly declined, explaining that it would make the sandwich soggy. I then requested a new sandwich, but she continued to be unhelpful and even asked if I could pay again! Feeling uncomfortable, I ultimately asked for a refund, but it took her 20 minutes to process it before I could leave. Overall, it was a complete waste of my time on a Sunday. I believe her name was Nagilly. Someone needs to train the staff in proper customer service and ensure they know how to heat food correctly.
I was surprised to find that it wasn't busy after 7 PM on a Sunday! The sandwich I had was delicious, and the service was prompt. I accidentally made a mistake while trying to use my reward in the app, but the staff member reassured me that I didn't lose my reward; I just need to purchase another Subway sandwich! Yum!
