We stopped by for a quick late lunch and chose to sit outside since the weather was lovely. The outdoor seating wasn't the most comfortable, but it worked for our needs. The food was quite enjoyable. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Slim's Place:
We've been with Slim in the last six years. In the last two years we saw the decline of service and a change of menu. We were recently In Holmes Beach in the week of July 11. We called twice a week to make a pickup order, and the rude person who answered the phone told us both times that they were too busy to pick up orders. We had a party of 13 . The food was great, but if you are an Ohio state fan, avoid this place like it is the plague(on game day). The server avoided us as much as she could, and multiple workers came by and made it known how much they disliked us, all based on the team we supported. We certainly did not feel welcome here. This is out go to place every time we out on the west of Florida. The staff are so great, that’s hard to find these days!. The food is phenomenal, every time we go there is something new on the menu, the menu is extensive and everything is made from scratch, super tasty and the portions are plenty. Love, love Slim’s we look forward to it every trip.
