Totoro - Ann Arbor

The restaurant was bustling with activity, but the staff did an excellent job of keeping things running smoothly! The food was delicious and enjoyable. This is one of my go-to sushi places and a favorite spot in the city of Ann Arbor. I have attached a photo of the lovely green salad I ordered.

Really cooler place near university of michigan ann arbor campus. fans of miyazaki will love the themes, but eating is just as delicious! they had some really amazing dons and the subtitle totoro tower not disappointed as a delicious option! if they like sushi, this restaurant is highly recommended! I also paid twice as much with the killer quality, and that wasn't so good! if you're in the opposite, that's one!

I came here and expected a hole in the wall sushi restaurant with average sushi and was so glad to be wrong. what I found instead was a restaurant that would prove to be an excellent culinary experience. as fan of studio Ghibli movies it was nice to see a two medium that I love, cook and anime, come together. I ordered an Oishii roll, my partner ordered a salmon skin roll, we share a thunfish tower with and a sequence of takoyaki. one of the first things I noticed about her is that they really good plating for sushi, orchids were a very good choice to bring out a pop of color. the texture and taste of takoyaki was impressive, where often people overcooked them, the chefs in totoro nailed it every time I ordered it, the subtle crunch before they brought into the soft center the takoyaki to die for. if I order sushi, I must try at least one piece sashimi, so I had the fat tone. the taste was excellent and the cut was generous. while the dining room got a little loud, it was hard for me to focus on everything except eating. I highly recommend eating here, even if they are not familiar with my neighbor totoro or studio ghibli chef whale

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The broth in the Totoro Spicy Noodles was absolutely divine and would highly recommend checking out if you are near. The sushi is big and flavorful as well.
