Sava's - Ann Arbor

We were disappointed that the menu does not change. Savas has always been the restaurant of choice for us when we visit Ann Arbor every year. Basically same menu and no specials. And quality of food seemed to decline.

This place is excellent. Unique, varied menu and great service.

We took our son (student at U of M) for a late dinner. Very interesting menu and everything we ordered (fish tacos, burger, Greek salad with salmon) was very good with large portions. Bang bang shrimp app was delicious too. Nice quiet place to talk and good service. Highly recommend.

Nice setting and atmosphere. But service, just ok. Water in our glasses had nets in both. Since staff wasn't writing down orders, several mistakes were made. My partners was offered refills but I wasn't, not once. The menu wasn't explained very well. But I might give another try, with different server, could've been very enjoyable.

Very disappointed with the overall experience. There were knats and fruit flies flying around the entire meal which were flying into our food and drinks. The waitress dismissed the bugs and said that it was because of the changing of the weather and said that other restaurants were experiencing the same thing. As if this weren’t enough, the sandwiches which are do not even come with a side. Instead, you have to buy sides for an extra Both sandwiches we had were mediocre at best and not worthy of another chance. Sorry to say we will not be back. Yeah
