The place was very nice and quiet. The food was also excellent, and our server Megan was particularly attentive. I plan to come back here in future and highly recommend this restaurant to others.
We booked the restaurant because every other place was booked. I imagine the restaurant is fine, but we got there and was told they closed at 11am and would reopen at 4. None of this was listed on the site information. The food was fine, basic breakfast food. We might try again but frankly were disappointed at the idea of a Christmas brunch turned into an egg sandwich .
We went here because of a coworkers recommendation. The food was delicious. There was no one there though. It was very empty for a Saturday night. The waiter wasn’t very enthusiastic about serving us but I would go back. The food was worth it and it was affordable.
Don 't let the fact that Relish is located in a hotel (Kensington hotel) stop you from trying this restaurant. I have dined here three times and have enjoyed my food every time. The Peach BBQ Chicken Flatbread is a favorite appetizer and serves 3 people easily. The Beef Short Ribs and the Meatloaf were given a 'thumbs ' up ' by my guests, along with the Atlantic Salmon. The menu changes seasonally. There is also a small, but respectable, wine list and dessert menu. BONUS: Because this restaurant is located near the expressway, and not downtown (10 mins. away), you can almost always get a table. A plus on graduation and football weekends as well as when other big events fill the city.
