Not many places in ann arbor are specialized in Indian snack / treet eating. for vegetarian I would highly recommend the Kathi roles, they are delicious and also fill!
This is a casual place that is well suited for the takeout (small seating area). they have a few, well-marked vegan options. I just tried the samosa I thought it was pretty good, but not the best in ann arbor. I remember that they have a cheeky curry, but in addition I seem to have their vegan options are usually side / finger food (and fried, so easy to know that they should be in the mood for this type of thing).
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service is extremely slow. The ordering and waiting area is actually located in the storage room, which is not ideal. When I say slow, I mean we waited over 20 minutes for our street food order, and this was not even during peak lunch hours.
The dining experience was much better before Covid. They had tables inside and the portion size was larger. The price of the food has been creeping up and the payment machine asks you for a tip by default. Overall it's my favorite butter chicken sauce around, and the paneer tika rolls are really good.
Kati rolls! Tiki Masala or Butter is legit. Samosas and chutney's average. Mango Lassi above average. Want to go back for biryani.Vegetarian options: Duh it's Indian
