A Taste of India - Ann Arbor

First time in an Indian restaurant in Ann Harbor. I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was not very busy at first, but then it started to pick up. The employees were still the same. Never had to ask for a refill! Great food! Great portions for the price .

Meals in this restaurant are exceptional. I go as often as I can. That could be the best curry in town. The balance of spice and taste is perfect. I definitely hydrate good after eating here. It is a worthy culinary experience. I can't wait to go back.

Have Dosas here the ravaa masala dosa and the spicier andhra masala dosa. Was very happy with the Dosas. The Chutneys were also very tasty, not watery unlike many other places I had. We also packed a chicken biryani and more cans to go. The chicken bryani was very good. We ordered mild and are very happy with the spice level.

I ate lunch here on graduation weekend. A family (with a graduating daughter ate across from me. One of the members of their party couldn’t eat potatoes, tomatoes, dairy or gluten and asked the server what on the menu fit these restrictions. If you’ve eaten Indian food you know how restrictive that is — I would have thrown up my hands. And yet , the chef came out and patiently walked through the options and customized a dosa for the guest. Was fun to see the guest enjoy the meal after — the chef’s patient attention and care made all the difference! Glad to commend him and the restaurant for it

I've been here twice and every time my experience was great. The murmel was wonderful, Mango leti tasty, Aloo Gobi divine. Hungry? Eat here!
