If you are like me looking for a spicy hot and tasty pita roll, then this is the closest you can get in Ann Arbor. I am still not happy about spicy hot but compared to any other such places in AA, this is the best. The attitude of store staff knocked down one star otherwise food is good. View all feedback.
What James Pless doesn't like about Pita Kabob Grill:
The food just sucks. The buns for the burgers are very tough. The lamb is dry and flavorless in the gyro. The chicken falafel was dry and hard. The fries are either cooked in old oil or they're cooked in stale oil. Disgusting. View all feedback.
Pita Kabob Grill is truly everything and the best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor. I've eaten the chicken cilantro pita at least once a week for the last 6 months. They've gotten me through hard times, joyous times. PKG is the reason why I'm getting through my Ph.D! NEVER CLOSE, PLEASE!
The reason why I give this place high props is because what used to be called the Rhyz b harr and is now the Eggplant B-Harr is an excellent combination of garlicky, spicy, and cinnamony in the best way possible! Just note that this place is small with limited seating.
I had a little indigestion with the beef… otherwise it is fine
The food here is amazing and there is a lot of variety!! My favorite is the lamb kabob pita and it never misses especially with the garlic sauce. I’m always craving this and it’s always ready quickly for pickup. My go-to for sure!
Ordered dinner including yogurt drink (ayran). It came expired since October.
