Taco Bell - Ankeny

They are simply, 'The Best Of Us ' a great crew the food is fast and hot and we feel like family!?

I went through the drive-thru at the restaurant. I remembered it from yesterday when I was young and happy at 38 years old. Now, at 45, I simply pulled up to the window to pick up my order. It would be quicker to drive to the airport, catch a flight to Tijuana, and grow corn, raise meat, and make your own tacos.

I tried to pick up a takeout order, but the doors were locked, so I had to drive around. They told me I had to come inside. When I circled back, I saw older men had now unlocked the door. There were no apologies or recognition of the inconvenience. The staff seemed preoccupied. Even when I returned 5 minutes later to retrieve my food, I still wasn't acknowledged. A simple apology for the inconvenience would have gone a long way.

We absolutely adore our neighborhood Taco Bell! Maybe even a little bit too much.

My children really enjoy the Taco Bell in Ankeny, and I find myself taking them there more often than I should. It is the only place where they will eat tacos!
