I enjoyed two days in Angouleme and this hotel was a comfortable place to stay. Excellent breakfasts and I ate in each evening. I enjoyed the menu and the wine list and friendly service.’when eating on the terrace on a warm evening it was a perfect combination of food and place.
This restaurant is hard to find as it is in the middle of a park and one has to enter through a quaint stone arch nor reminiscent of a good hotel and lovely restaurant The staff were exceptionally friendly and service was good. Just be prepared that most restaurants last orders are at 21.00 Good local fare and lovely local wines are available Reservations are recommended
