Giovanni's Italian Kitchen - Angleton

Been a customer since it opened. good food, large portions and reasonably priced. You always get what you paid for. Last night I was disappointed. Grilled oysters were back on the menu. They were OK (not great as they usually are) , but they were OUTRAGIOUSLY EXPENSIVE. (about $3 per oyster)

Food was great, service was not. Unfortunate it used to be wonderful.

Angelice’s recommendations, especially the Veal Parmigiana, were absolutely delicious and highlighted the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine. My brother, sister, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the delightful dishes served to us. They're already talking about when we can return for another evening of great food and wonderful memories. Angelice’s exceptional service truly made our visit memorable, and I’m already looking forward to our next dining experience here. Moving down from DFW, I didn't expect to find Italian food of this quality in such a small town. I was extremely impressed and our server Mary was so courteous and professional. She was such a delight.

Giovanni’s is an absolute gem in the heart of Italian cuisine! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Angelice, who provided the most extraordinary service throughout our evening. Her recommendations, especially the snapper Waikiki, were spot on! It was a dish that truly delighted our taste buds—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Angelice went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her knowledge of the menu and attention to detail were impressive. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy yet elegant, perfect for any occasion.
