I have never been to an Italian restaurant like Iori before, but the food is fantastic and it's not too fancy. Yes, it does get crowded (usually a good sign) but I have found that if you just go and grab a drink first, everything will work out. I enjoy some good eating bit of a foodie here and know Italian food well. Went once for dinner; service was good no issues there. My food was just okay at best, very odd seasoning and not a traditional taste for that particular dish. Soup was way too salty. My guest enjoyed their plate and said it was okay. I felt like a mob boss who eats like this giovannis a quant small Italian place in angleton tx. we had the steaks. the brot is made fresh and it is so good. You can't even make a bad order here, everything's delicious.

It was my sister's birthday, we didn't realize it was Homecoming for our High School but we made reservations earlier. Great food, decent price and great service. We were under dressed with the High Schoolers and dates dressing up for Homecoming. It really made the meal more festive.
