Our food arrived promptly, with most dishes c... read more We dined at the tavern on Saturday for lunch. It was bustling but not loud, and the tables were well spaced apart. Our food arrived promptly, with most dishes coming out together for our group of five. Most of us opted for the $15 lunch specials, which included the typical choices of fish, schnitzels, burgers, and bangers and mash. One person ordered the mixed grill, which was enormous. The portions were quite generous, and many of us couldn't finish our meals, so they provided take-out containers at no extra cost. There's also plenty of parking available.

The food arrived very quickly, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend dining here!

It was a little... read more I came here with my father and mother in law one evening, we were quite surprised at how nice the place was inside especially the outdoors area. It was a little cold but the waiters quickly put the heaters on for us! When our main meals came out were so amazed at the quality or our meals for it being a pub, the food was what you would expect at a high end eatery but without the massive cost and the portion size was more than sufficient! We left very satisfied and saying to one another how much we are looking forward to coming back again!

It's not all deep fried a... read more Wasn't really looking forward to driving out so far to go to a family dinner. We were quite surprised at the variety of food on offer. It's not all deep fried and we could actually smell the char grill from outside. That made me hungry.The place was fairly clean and bright and the staff were quite friendly.One point I noticed the drinks fridges weren't full, yet the range of beers was pretty limited. Shitloads of ciders but no hoppy beers. Lion or Coopers, that's it. A few hoppy beers, even a few six packs of James Squire would have been a nice start.
