Great option for vegetarians! Traditional 3-course French menu but done in a farm-to-table eco-conscious way. Two or three choices for each course, changes daily, wide selection of wines. I had zucchini gazpacho, summer vegetable risotto and macerated berries. Reservations recommended as the place is small and popular.
We had a delightful lunch here, the menu is small and the food simple, honest, freshly prepared and delicious. Excellent value for money
We had a lovely meal here. It has a small menu but the quality was excellent and there were veggie choices for both starters and mains. We had a delicious watermelon and tomato cold soup with tomato toasts followed by a lovely veg and tofu lasagne with a great salad. For desert we had roasted rhubarb crumble. A delicious meal, lovely local red wine too. A definite find we will be back thank you so much!
We went for a family dinner and despite our personal waiter daniel, was very attentive, charming and knowledgeable, the manager was brusk and dismissed for our group. eating was delicious, but the experience stained some of the dirty look. pity, as otherwise we would. return and recommend, friends who travel in the region.
We had a booking of 6 adults and 6 children and did not immediately feel welcome as our children spoke. we kept the children as quiet as possible - much quieter than other children in the restaurant. other children in the restaurant were. wild between the tables, as our quiet and sitting. However, we seemed to be the only table that the owner obviously did not want, as she accepted our booking with the knowledge that we had 6 children and came out of england. our seger daniel was excellent, but we felt really unwilling from the owner. eating was a big standard, but due to the miserable atmosphere of the owner, we wouldn't come back.
