This was a very good find after searching for a restaurant that served lamb chops and it was just across the road from our hotel hotel da France . The owner/chef was more than helpful, the menu was on a blackboard in French but they were happy to translate everything for us and change things as we wanted them and asked us what we liked for a starter and main and cooked exactly how and what we asked for, they spoke good English which helped and all the staff were friendly and could not do enough to make sure we had every thing we wanted and enjoyed our food and the evening. the price for food and wine was also very sensible price. Highly recommend.
Welcoming and smiling waitress We ate well, friendly restaurant The only flat they no longer accept the ticket resto paper only the cards are accepted C is a pity because we are not all passed to the resto card, which is full of restrictions
I had asked for a glass of AOC Anjou Blanc (on the map), Visibly, there was no bottle open, always is it that I was served a Chardonnay (a country wine, cheaper on the map) instead, without saying anything. I realized the taste and protested, and staff began by contesting with a bad faith argument about the possible presence of Chardonnay in the Anjou AOC. (which is also allowed but only as a minority vine). I insisted, they finally opened a bottle and served me the Anjou requested. I found it very limited and the attitude of inappropriate staff. Too bad, the food was pretty good (and the Anjou very well). I won't be there again.
Very well received. Prices are reasonable. The kitchen is simple and tasteful. I'll be back.
