We ate at this restaurant and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Staff were really friendly and the food was exceptional. We ate from the set menu at 31 euros but all the food was fresh and reflected the region. Overall well worth a visit. View all feedback.
What Antoinette Girard doesn't like about La Ferme:
Nous avons dîné sur la terrasse où il y avait une odeur très forte nauséabonde.Cela a gâché le repas.En ce qui concerne la carte, il y a très peu de choix, le prix est excessif.Nous étions en pleins courant d'air.Seul point positif, une vue magnifique sur la cathédrale saint-Maurice. We did make reservations for a group of 5 with outdoor seating on a busy night. Duck breast, fresh cod and a brioche burger: I had the duck breast tasty and rightly done pink on the inside. The dessert for 5 people: chocolate triangle and Robin des Bois . Very tasty! The bill came to almost 118 fro 5 with a bottle of Saumur Rosé.
We (well one of us did made a restaurant near the Cathedral St Maurice. It was the last night before ALL restaurants and bars had to close in this bustling city. Six of us, the maximum amount for which you can reserve a table we got the round table to the delight of one our friends! Some of us ordered a soup (a velouté de cèpes kind of mushroom thick soup actually the couple like it very much! Then we ordered maigret de canard (duck breast filet , têtes de veau (calf head and one St Jacques dish (scallops served with risotto. Everybody was satisfied with their dishes. The waitress was fine but she was overwelmed with the amount of guests present at the restaurant. Later on she disappeared ... and was replaced with an efficient waiter. Desserts were ordered by four of us. tarte tatin (upside down apple pie , a tea gourmand (choice of tea served with different small desserts , dame blanche (we had to wait extrememy long for this one and two coffees (expresso's To drink we ordered a bottle of local red wine: Anjou Brissac Haute Perché the taste of this wine was liked by all The total bill came to 189.30 euros which came to 31.55 each. We left the restaurant well after 10pm (we were seated at 20.05 pm ... but we will be back!
