Was Anonym at 40's Cafe a mag?
Plenty of on-street parking, service great. Serve halal chicken but cuisine not strictly so. Pizza ingredient excellent esp. local products but the pizza base need getting used to. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about 40's Cafe:
This place plugs award winning pizzas but you pay the price with our 9" costing us $28 and it was a confused mess. Our chicken gourmet had too many ingredients and it came up with a mediocre taste. I couldn't even find the chicken through all the Camembert, pesto and avocado. Being a huge pizza lover, I was truly disappointed. View all feedback.
The best pizza I have ever had! This small country town is beautiful and their pizza is amazing.
Outstanding pizza we tried the 'Smokey Pizza ', which we are told is the 'winner of best pizza in Australia ' (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009) and we can confirm it is still up there with the best. The staff are just lovely, friendly and natural.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I will definitely return!
Took a group of friends for the pizzas , everyone loved it. We've been driving up from Adelaide for the last ten years taking interstaters and international guests. Smokey Pizza still the best.
The service was excellent, the wine selection was great, and the schnitzel topping was the best we've ever had. We will definitely be returning.
