The waitstaff were perfect—always available when needed but not overly prese... read more We celebrated our 34th anniversary at The Roost, and it was a wonderful experience! The waitstaff were perfect—always available when needed but not overly present, and they offered excellent recommendations. Adam, the bar manager, was attentive and innovative; even though he didn’t have a drink we requested, he took the time to look it up and prepared it for us. The food was outstanding—I had the sirloin, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection, while my husband enjoyed the scallops, which were well-prepared and extremely fresh. Dover has been in need of a restaurant like this, and it has finally arrived. The atmosphere was fun, the food was delicious, and Adam and his team were fantastic! We’ll definitely be returning soon.

The fried artichoke hearts are a must-try, and the special Lobster and Scallop Risotto was fantastic! It is a bit on the expensive side, but we believe it was worth every cent!
