Billy Sims Bbq - Andover

I don’t know if management has changed but prior it was truly hit or miss what you would get coming here. We used to love this place but the inconsistency of things kept us away. Well we decided to give it a go last night… we had great service, exceptional food, and the sweet tea hit just right. Yay!

I'm not typically a fan of BBQ in Wichita but was impressed with a recent carry out order from Billy Sims. The meats (brisket and pulled pork) were juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly smoked. The sides (beans and potato salad) were on point. Will return. Parking: There is a seasonal farmer vendor selling fresh produce in the parking lot. A nice complement to BBQ.

I've eaten here 6 times and they have been out of hot links 3 of the 6 times. I guess thats what happens when you serve a good product. BUT... when they do have hot links, they are delicious. The coleslaw is great. The turkey was a bit dry, but still very tasty. My son raves about the Heisman. Will definitely be back. I'll just call ahead to make sure they have hot links on hand ?
