We visited Andong on a rainy day and the internet told us to try seonji gukbap (cow 's blood stew). Okya is inside the traditional public market and it 's quite popular with the locals so we waited for a bit before a seat was available since it was lunch time. The broth is so tasty! Okya Sikdang located in Gukbap Alley in the Andong Central New Market Wednesday Gourmet Party and Saturdays are aired on the Andong episode of I Like Rice, so many people traveling to Andong visit this place to have breakfast The only menu is Seonji-gukbap with plenty of green onion and beef brisket It contains green onion, beef tallow, and lamb meat, and because it has been simmered for a long time, the refreshing taste of the soup is excellent. The basic side dishes are onion pickles, seokbakji, and pickled kimchi seasoned with pestle leaves (peeling powder) It is delicious even if you take red pepper powder and minced garlic separately and put them in the soup. Okya Sikdang's Seonji Gukbap is more like Ugeogi Beef Gukbap than spicy Haejangguk I don't know if it's because I went with high expectations, but it tasted just so-so for my taste.
