1st time in, they have been open for 5 years . The owner and staff are great . Friendly folks. I had the fish and calamari with both sauces and Jojo fries. Portions are plenty for price. Alot of menu options. Family meal deals as well. Fast service. It is located in the Anderson prime outlets. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Really great fish. Had the daily special. Beautifully battered and fried fish. Very good chowder and deep fried bread. Staff was really nice. Looking forward to stopping there again. We had previously heard good things about this place, and finally took the time to try it. The positives of the experience were the nice young man behind the counter (and the other nice young man who brought condiments and napkins to our table) and their curly fries. If you go, try those fries. The fish was very greasy and disappointing, a very small portion of fish coated in a huge amount of oily batter. We spent almost $60 for two people for lunch. It honestly could also use a good cleaning there, at least the day we were visited. We will try it again, because we have heard great things, and we totally could have been there when they were having an off day. But...If it weren't for the two friendly employees we probably wouldn't go back.
Picked up two 2 piece fish basket combos and a large soda. Total cost came to $38. Left most of what we paid for on the table when we left. The fish was mushy, soaked in oil and not very tasty. Way to much breading on each end of the fish. We were really looking forward to this but after our experience eating there I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We haven’t been here in about a year. It used to be SUPER GOOD! This place could use a good cleaning. My husband and I went in today and their iced tea was old, the coleslaw didn’t taste fresh, the table’s ketchup was fermented and tingled on my tongue. The fish piece was mostly batter. I feel like I just paid $50 to gamble my gut. The person behind the counter was nice but I feel like their quality overall has gone downhill. Food: 1
