Nice atmosphere. Had a short time to eat, but the service was fast. I chose the French dip according to the reviews here. Wasn't disappointed. Eating is a little expensive for lunch, but the food quality, location and atmosphere did not make it so much focus. I'd eat here again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Varsity Sports Grill:
Miss the bread pudding, seafood chowder, and Kenai Smoked Chicken Pot Pie. Menu has taken a slight step downward (less selection) from when they first opened. Still a very nice atmosphere. Good service. View all feedback.
Not only is the food and view of the court outstanding, the service is some of the best in the city. I come here as often as possible and bring along business associates so as to introduce more people to this great restaurant.
Every thing good expect for ice cold tomatoes on a hot BLT. tomatoes should be served room temperature..
It was good to be able to have a meal and go right downstairs to the game. However they should be to scan our tickets in restaurant so we would not have to go find some to do so.
Great place to have a meal before a UAA basketball game. Great fast service.
We like coming here before a University of Alaska sporting event but it seems that they are never sufficiently staffed with waiters. So don't be in a hurry
