Absolutely fantastic! We love the Kahlua pork and chicken katsu. My wife and I visit every couple of weeks or so. We were disappointed when they were closed for a bit, but we were thrilled to find out that they have reopened. View all feedback.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were looking for a quick snack. We were in the mood for musubi, as it’s a convenient option to grab and go. After our recent trip to Hawaii, we were expecting it to be wrapped in a way that allows for easy eating on the move. Instead, they placed three pieces in a Styrofoam container. When I tried to pick one up, it fell apart right away. The chicken was decent, but... View all feedback.
Went to try Spam Masubi... The lady working was rude. They show 2 sizes for meals on the menu, but claim they only have the larger size. Charged $1 more than listed menu price. Claims price changed but not reflected on menu.
I personally enjoyed it and would definitely return.
I live Hawaiian food! hula hands were my favorite until I had the shaka shack’s chicken katsu in the 5th avenue mall (downtown). uuo yum!
I was eating there quite often for a while. Loved the banzai bowl and teriyaki chicken. Never had any issues other than a few veggies that were a bit weird/had blck spots but just recently ordered the bbq sandwich (teriyaki chicken, bbq sauce, tomato and lettuce) and was super grossed out. Got halfway through it and got a bite of something rotten. Didnt open it up to look at ot because I would have freaked out if I would have seen something gross so I just threw it away and went back to work. Never eating there again man that was nasty.
Normally when i go to the mall for lunch I go to Famous Wok as their teriyaki chicken is pretty good and the portion sizes are fair for the price. However, today I thought I'd give Shaka Shack a shot and was extremely disappointed and will most likely not return. I got their teriyaki bowl which looked nothing like the picture and was pretty much just rice. the chicken was chewy, bland, and tasted like it was the left over fatty pieces cut off other portions of chicken. The picture they advertise shows carrots, peppers, etc. and make the bowl appear like its mostly lean chicken with vegetables. In reality you get around 3oz of random pieces of fatty chicken and a few pieces of vegetables over top mostly rice.
