Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

I've been coming here for 51 years it has changed over the years but as always had a good time. Lot of great memories good are you getting in and out quickly and efficiently.

Review of the South terminal. Arrivals and departures are both very well organized, with lots of space, great architecture features strewn all over (moose, bears, planes, etc hanging around). The terminal is not all that big, but feels big.There are a ton of power outlets, comfortable seats, and water fountains. The only gripe we had was that the wifi truly sucks. It is not fast and keeps logging off.Some restaurants are closed due to pandemic, bit plenty of options still exist from Japanese, McDonalds, bars and to go. They also have kiosks with electronics, baby stuff, beauty things etc.

Love how friendly helpful people seem to be in AK. We got off our one way nonstop flight from Newark NJ to Anchorage, to instantly feel at home in Alaska.Though the travelers are tired each one seems to have a story to tell with excitement in their eyes. July 1st 2021 The covid covering is still required on flights (facemasks).

Nice and very clean airport. Roomy and not really congested. Would definitely use it again.

Great Airport nice place but there are no wheel chairs at the rent a car area they are all up stairs, if you have a handy cap person down stairs. I went to get one for my farther and I got asked were i was going with it? Like i was stealing it LOL. I didn't look like a bum or a criminal, I think they should be more worried about other people than a middle age man pushing wheel chair.
