Starbucks - Anchorage

I had a rather frustrating experience at this restaurant. One of the staff members seemed to have a problem with me and refused to serve me when I asked for extra cream for my drink, which meant I ended up having no drink that day. I spoke with the manager about the issue, and we were able to resolve it. However, when I returned another time and the manager wasn't present, that same girl refused to serve me again. I honestly don't understand why, as I've never done anything to upset her. On a positive note, the rest of the staff is wonderful, and I highly recommend the food here—just not that particular girl.

I don’t think I’d want to return to this place because there are too many overly strict customers around. It feels like the atmosphere tries to keep people in line, which gives off a vibe that feels unwelcoming. I don’t mean to be rude, but discussing things with someone who seems unreasonable isn’t ideal. On a positive note, there was a competent manager and some employees who provided good service, managing to keep things running smoothly despite some odd patrons who lingered. I would recommend just passing through rather than planning to spend much time there.

If you're having any issues at this Starbucks you should contact the store manager Sadie Elizabeth Leader. The inside was remodeled and it looks great! What I see that is different is the large open space in the middle of the store. I'm not sure, but maybe there are fewer tables and chairs than before? There is a bar next to the barista that is now much lower. I really like this bar because anyone can sit or pull up to it. I like the new look and I think you will too. Come inside! The customer service per car thru is good, but the drinks are not good. would be nice if a manager actually lived up to her word and corrected the situation if the drink badly tasted.
