What Platypuff doesn't like about Royal Thai Alaska:
Their curries are really good and packed with so much flavor. The only problem I have is with their meats. At least for the curries. They are thin slices and consistently dry tasting meat slices. Whether it's the pork, chicken or beef. The soup is amazing, just the texture and taste of their meat choice for their curries is not at all my favorite compared to other Thai restaurants. My favorite place for thai in Anchorage. I love getting their chicken pad thai with shrimp added. But you have to ask for it that way because otherwise it's cooked differently and the taste will differ a bit. For my spice lovers, I personally have to stick to 3 or for it to be enjoyable.
Quick, hot and amazing food. We ordered pad thai and panang curry with spice level 3. It was a little hot for us but still amazing
I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, and they serve you a good amount. The customer service is top notch, they really care about their customers. If you are very hungry for great tasting Thai food this is the place to go, period. There are other places in town that have tasty food but Thai Town serves you more. I hate waiting for my food to only get a small amount. This place has never disappointed. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
Loved how amazing my order was! My boys had chicken pad thai and it as awesome! The stir fried with medium spicy is just right! Definitely recommend
